BIO Robert (Bob) served for 33 years on the Cleveland Police Department. He worked in Basic Patrol, Narcotics, Vice Enforcement, Intelligence, Communications and he retired as a Commander of the Bureau of Special Investigation Unit in April of 1999. Bob currently manages the Cuyahoga Regional Information System. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He received his certification as an instructor from the Ohio Police Officer Training Commission in 1982. He is currently teaching at the Cleveland Police Academy, Cuyahoga Community College Police Academy and the Ohio Police Officers Training Academy. He has had the privilege of lecturing at several law enforcement seminars throughout the United States and Canada, he has lectured as a guest to students of John Carroll University, Baldwin Wallace College and Cleveland State University. Bob is currently a Trustee of the CPHS; he also has served as President. He chairs the Fundraising Committee and Volunteers at several events throughout the year. Bob is also a member of several other organizations: Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 8 since 1966, Metropolitan Crime Clinic since 1970 (was also President of the board), FBI National Academy Associates since 1977, Association of Former Intelligence Officers since 1997, Ohio Incident Based Reporting Advisory Board since 2000, Ohio Criminal Justice Information System Policy Board since 2000, Cuyahoga County Police Chiefs Association since 2000, Middle Atlantic Great Lakes Organized Crime Law Enforcement Network Policy Board (MAGLOCLEN) 1995 – 1999 (served as First Vice President), Cuyahoga County Crime Stoppers Task Force 1996 – 1999.
